Our offer

Inspiring Communities Together recognises that our programmes of work are only as good as the staff we employ. At Yogurt Pots we ensure all our staff have access to quality learning and development overseen by our Children and Families Programme Manager

We know how important it is for families to feel confident that their children are going to feel happy and be safe and secure whilst in our care. We recognise the value of outside learning and therefore provide an extended programme of both inside and outside learning for the children – seeing the outside as a place of calm and learning.

We make sure families can connect with their children’s learning journey through our interactive app Tapestry

Stay and play

Stay & Play sessions are held on a Monday morning (Term Time only) between 9.30 – 11.00am and are free for families with pre-school children and babies to attend. There is no need to book, just come along and join in.

The sessions run by Inspiring Communities Together staff are held in the Library area of the Sports Village. Sign up for our weekly emails to ensure you do not miss a session and you can find out what activities are taking place each week.

Alongside the informal children focused sessions we run sessions to support families on topics such as Safer Sleep, basic First Aid, and applying for a school place. Inspiring Communities Together Advice and Guidance Worker is also on hand to help with housing and benefits advice. Just speak to a member of staff – If we don’t know we will know someone who does!

Nursery

Nursery term time provision is provided for children aged 2 years to 4 years of age from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm, with morning, afternoon, and full-day sessions available at competitive rates.

Holiday club

Holiday club during school holidays is available for children who are Primary School age 5 years – 11 years of age.

Sessions run from 9am to 5pm and provide a fun engaging space for children to take part in both physical and social activities. This is not a school environment, but we recognise that children enjoy some element of structure.

Sessions include nature walks in our local green spaces, accessing our own outdoor classroom, arts and crafts, just dance sessions. Simple cooking activities, and playing board games. Programme changes each holiday.

After school club

After School Club supports families working beyond school hours. Our low cost sessions run from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

Children are currently collected by our staff team from St Pauls C of E Primary School and Lower Kersal Primary School in Salford. We encourage an activity travel scheme and therefore children are expected to walk from both these schools to our setting at Sports Village.

Children are provided with a healthy snack and engage in planned activities like arts & crafts, outdoor exploration, and team games. We use Tapestry, a secure system, to share activity updates and photos with parents/carers.
